Saturday Night Fun With Creatives -- Maker Faire Cleveland Showcase 2021!

Maker Faire Cleveland Showcase 2021! | The Cleveland Public Library, for their Ninth Annual Maker Faire Cleveland, did the event a little differently than in past years. Instead of just a one-day maker event, they planned family-friendly, free events at library locations across the city for a full week! The week-long maker activities culminated with the Maker Faire Cleveland Showcase 2021 at the Great Lakes Science Center.

Cleveland Museum of Art "Picturing Motherhood Now" -- Preconception vs. Actuality

"Picturing Motherhood Now" Preconception vs. Actuality | I had received an invitation in early October for the Thursday, October 14, 2021, preview of Picturing Motherhood Now, and started reading about and looking at photographs from the exhibition on the Cleveland Museum of Art's website. Based on what I saw, I developed a preconception about the exhibition, which I have to admit was not on target.

Cleveland GiveCamp 2021 - Online! |  It was known from the very beginning of planning for the eleventh Cleveland GiveCamp in 2021 that flexibility would be needed. Enjoying Remotely in 2021: The 32nd Cleveland Museum of Art's Chalk Festival

The 32nd Cleveland Museum of Art's Chalk Festival | For 2021, I was very disappointed that a spur-of-the-moment trip south to take care of some family business prevented me from attending the 32nd Cleveland Museum of Art's Chalk Festival, but fortunately, my son and the Cleveland Twitterverse shared photos from the event.
