"Eight Days a Week" of Fun
A flurry of activity! In late April and early May of 2018, I had eight busy days of activities! I originally created this as one single blog post listing all nine events, but later decided to publish nine posts to make it easier to find for my website visitors to read.
I still think of it as one post that I hope will not only give you insight into my eight-day week, but more importantly, encourage you to support these organizations with your presence at future events.
8) Saturday, May 5, 2018 - Fifth Annual Station Hope
May 05, 2018
6:30-10:00pm, St. John's in Ohio City & surrounding blocks - 2600 Church Ave. Cleveland, OH 44113
Now in its fifth year, Station Hope is a jubilant community event that celebrates Cleveland’s social justice history and explores contemporary struggles for freedom and equity. Engage with over 250 artists as they envision, interrogate, and seek out hope on the grounds of Cleveland’s first authenticated Underground Railroad site, St. John’s Episcopal Church. Audiences explore the historic properties while viewing works of theatre, music, storytelling, and dance inspired by the most important issues of our time.
2018 marked the fifth year for Station Hope (#StationHope18 - #StationHope), which I have enjoyed for the past two years (search Twitter for #StationHope17 and #StationHope16 to see past event photos). It is an incredible event to experience!
Thank you to the sponsors listed in the 2018 Station Hope Program PDF File for making this great event possible!

This year, I was really struck by the quality of acting of the performers. The grand finale with dancers and drums is always a big hit. Enjoy the photos and videos in the following tweets:
