Cleveland Tech, Entrepreneur & Social Media Meetings Mon 2/10 - Mon 2/17

As part of announcing this week's tech, entrepreneur, and social media meetings, I am also announcing the upcoming WebSigCleveland.org meeting.

On November 21, 2009, I arranged for a special field trip to the Cleveland Sight Center (@ClevelandSight), where we learned about their good work and had a WebSigCleveland.org meeting on Website Accessibility. We have also in the past covered the topics of search engine optimization (SEO), and website user experience (UX).

With all the changes in technology that impact these fields, it is important to keep current with the latest trends. That is why I am pleased to ask you to mark your calendars to attend, and invite others to the following meetings:

• Saturday, 2/15/14 10:30 AM - Website Accessibility with Tom Babinszki (@TBabinszki), who is an Accessibility Advisor at IBM.

• Saturday, 3/15/14 10:30 AM - Search Engine Optimization in 2014 with Leslie Carruthers (@TheSearchGuru), the President of The Search Guru, Inc.

• Saturday, 4/19/14 10:30 AM - (speaker/topic is expected to be confirmed soon)

• Saturday, 5/17/14 10:30 AM - User Experience (UX) Talk with Carol Smith (@carologic), a user experience professional.

• Saturday, 6/21/14 - TBA

• Friday-Sunday, 7/18-7/20 - No regular meeting in July, so that members can attend the great Cleveland GiveCamp (@CleGiveCamp and follow hashtag: #CleGC). Watch the ClevelandGiveCamp.org website for sponsorhip and sign-up information. If you know of a Cleveland charitiy that could benefit from the volunteer work of over 200 of the best of Cleveland's tech community, please have them apply!

• No August WebSigCleveland.org meeting.
