We had a such a great time at University Circle's (@inthecircle) 23rd Annual Holiday CircleFest on Sunday, December 4, 2016, that we wanted to share our photos and tweets/retweets of the day to thank all the sponsoring organizations. Unfortunately, Julie only was able to attend the early activities, since she had a choir performance, but Stuart stayed to the very end of the evening activities.
One of the great things about the day is the people who work at the sponsoring organizations, who warmly welcome and talk to visitors. Stuart wants to give a shout-out to the following people he met during the day. Their actions show how to effectively engage visitors to University Circle.

Peter (did not get his last name) - He was the volunteer at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History (@goCMNH) who spent a lot of time with Stuart, sharing very interesting information about our planet, volcanoes, and continental plates. It is this level of involvement that makes a visit to a museum come alive.

Julie recently won a free membership to the museum at a CMNH Reel Science showing of Anaconda at the Capitol Theatre (@CapitolW65th). (See our Think & Drink with the Extinct: Wildlife! blog post for more information about these movies.) With our new membership, we hope to go to even more Cleveland Museum of Natural History events, and hope to meet Peter again to learn more from him.

Stuart learned that he was one of Cleveland Museum of Art's official photographers. David Brichford shared some very interesting facts about how the museum is always updating their photography equipment as technology evolves.

2016 UCI Holiday CircleFest
During Holiday CircleFest, renowned museums, gardens, galleries, churches, and schools open their doors free-of-charge. The Maltz Museum was in the Cleveland History Center lobby with edible marshmallow dreidels, Hanukkah crafts, music from Workmen's Circle Klezmer Orchestra, and a chance to learn about Jewish culture, tradition, and celebrations.
