In our blog post Cleveland Museum of Art's Two Major Fall 2018 Exhibitions: Georgia O’Keeffe and Catherine de’ Medici’s Valois Tapestries, Stuart wrote:
Thank you, Cleveland Museum of Art, for bringing both Renaissance Splendor: Catherine de’ Medici’s Valois Tapestries and Georgia O’Keeffe: Living Modern to Cleveland! I look forward to coming back to the museum to see the exhibitions again with Julie, my co-blogger and wife.
On Friday, January 18, 2019, Stuart returned with Julie to show her these two major exhibitions. Both Wednesday and Friday nights are good weeknights to go to the Cleveland Museum of Art (@ClevelandArt), since they are open later than other nights -- until 9:00 pm. Visiting the museum makes for a very enjoyable evening.
Remember that visiting the museum’s collections is always FREE to the public. As museum members, we received tickets for these two exhibitions at no extra charge. If you are not a member, you can order your tickets online for Georgia O’Keeffe: Living Modern (Renaissance Splendor: Catherine de’ Medici’s Valois Tapestries exhibition closed on Monday, January 21st).
Our @sos_jr tweets and retweets prior to our visit to the two exhibitions include a video and links to useful information:

Georgia O’Keeffe: Living Modern - #CMAokeeffe
Jule found it particularly interesting to learn how Georgia O’Keeffe integrated her style into all aspects of her life, including her art, clothing (everything down to her shoes), and accessories. This applied to her whole lifestyle, including the way she decorated her home. Even some of her pieces were not to Julie's taste, it was very interesting to learn about her life as well as view her artwork.
Here are our @sos_jr tweets, which include photos from our tour, and Stuart's observations:

Renaissance Splendor: Catherine de’ Medici’s Valois Tapestries - #CMAtapestries
Julie enjoyed viewing the Valois Tapestries and reading their stories in the accompanying "Visitors Guide to a Renaissance Drama." She especially liked the glittering of the gilded silver metal-wrapped silk threads, and the incredible detail in the tapestries and in the paintings displayed.
Here are our @sos_jr tweets, which include photos of the artwork displayed, and the tapestries' details:
